Granite is a tough, durable rock
composed primarily of three different minerals feldspar,
quartz and biotite or mica. The white mineral grains perhaps the
most abundant found in
granite are feldspar. The light gray, glass-like grains are
quartz, and the black grains are
biotite or black mica. Granite is an igneous rock, and is formed
from magma.
Granite magma has many potential origins but it must intrude
other rocks.
In India granites are mainly
found in the south and Central India, in and around
what is known as the Deccan plateau. And it is one of the
largest resources in the world.
These granites also in many verities and colors which are very
elegant and appealing.
